This is the super exclusive and highly limited edition OpenSolaris “space pen”
that arrived via FedEx just yesterday. Its very slick looking and I will most likely
be sending this one off to my friend Rich Teer in Kelowna, British Columbia
because I wanted him to have something from the “contributor” swag.

Rich Teer has been a foundation member of the Solaris community for as long as I
can remember and has helped a bizillion people for years. He also wrote the very
helpful Solaris Systems Programming book that has become an essential part of
any serious sysadmin or programmer bookshelf. Get it. Read it.
